The initiative is led by Scandagra Lietuva in cooperation with Lietuvos Junior Achievement, with Bayer, DOJUS agro and Agroconsult LT, represented by the VIVA FERTILIS brand, joining as partners from the agricultural sector.

Throughout the project, students will have an opportunity to explore the real business environment of agriculture, analyse challenges facing the sector, develop their own ideas and look for innovative solutions. We are joining the initiative by sharing our experience in plant nutrition, biological technologies, product development, trials and manufacturing.

“We want young people to see that modern agriculture is much more than work in the fields. Behind it are science, laboratory and field trials, manufacturing, technology, product development, international business and a wide range of professions. We are joining this project because we see real value in giving young people the opportunity to discover the agricultural sector and its possibilities first-hand,” says Erikas Butnoris, Director of Agroconsult LT.

The first event of the new project season has already taken place in Birštonas. During training organised by Lietuvos Junior Achievement, teachers took part in practical business development activities and prepared for their work with students.

By joining “Ateities Lietuvai”, we aim not only to share our experience but also to help more young people discover modern agriculture as a promising field for science, technology, business and future careers.
